Service Description
Provides inpatient psychiatric and crisis stabilization services for those who are a severe danger to themselves or others or are likely to suffer from neglect or harm if current behaviors continue, such as suicide attempts and hallucinations. The facility can hold patients for a maximum of 72 hours. During this time, physicians and counselors will examine and interview the patient to determine their mental state and the type and duration of further treatment that may be needed, including additional treatment.
