U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

Provides social and psychological services for reintegration, including professional readjustment counseling to eligible military service members and veterans, including National Guard and Reserve components and their families. Readjustment counseling is offered to successfully transition from military to civilian life or after a traumatic event experienced in the military. Individual, group, marriage, and family counseling is offered in addition to referral and connection to other Veteran Affairs (VA) or community benefits and services. Veteran Center counselors and outreach staff, many of whom are Veterans themselves, are experienced and prepared to discuss the tragedies of war, loss, grief, and transition after trauma.

Veterans with honorable or general discharge from the military services or their family members who are in need of mental health services, such as for Combat Exposure Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), or Military Sexual Trauma (MST).

Appointment preferred; call or visit the website for details. There is no guarantee of being seen the same day if a walk-in. In an effort to better serve the veteran and family members, upon request, Vet Centers will provide services after normal work hours and/or on weekends.
