Service Description

The Voter Assistance Hotline provides voting information including voter registration, election dates, early voting, precincts and Supervisor of Elections.

To Vote in Broward County:

1) If you are registered - Go to the polling place you have been assigned You must have a photo ID with signature e.g. FL Driver's License, FL ID Card, US Passport, Debit/Credit card, Student ID, Employees ID, Military ID, Retirement center ID, Public Assistance ID. With any one of the above you will be allowed to vote.

2) IF you do not have one of the above and are NOT a first time voter in Broward OR you did not register by mail - you will be asked to sign an affidavit that you are who you say you are and are eligible to vote. You will then be given a ballot and allowed to vote.

3) IF you are voting for the first time in Broward AND you registered to vote by mail AND you cannot provide ID - You will be given an affidavit as in step 2 above and after signing you will receive a provisional ballot that will be counted after your identity is verified
