Service Description
Assists survivors in obtaining an injunction for protection, also known as a restraining order, to stop further contact and violence from the abuser. There are no income or asset restrictions for survivors seeking this kind of help. Representation is not guaranteed and assistance may be limited to legal advice or brief services.
Eligibility
Individuals residing and their legal issue is located in the following counties; Alachua, Bradford, Dixie, Gilchrist, Lafayette, Levy, and Union, or have a referral from the legal services in their community. Referrals from Community Agencies may sent referrals to referrals@trls.org.
