Service Description
Provides emergency shelter services and linkage to primary health care, behavioral health services, legal services, family reunification or basic needs. This program is conducted in partnership with Broward County Call Center as the Homeless Helpline.

Eligibility
Individuals without minor children in the household experiencing homelessness, currently in Broward County, seeking emergency shelter services and do not need assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), for example those needing assistance with performing activities of daily living such as wound care, bathing, dressing, or walking. Photo ID preferred but not required.

Application Instructions
Contact the Homeless Helpline at (954) 563-4357 or 3-1-1. The program completes Level 1 Coordinated Assessment Prevention and Diversion Screening. Clients must meet outreach workers who arrive in a white van and complete an assessment. No early or late arrivals. If the individual is being discharged from a Psychiatric Hospital or Substances Abuse treatment facility, the Discharge Worker must fax a "Face Sheet" to TaskForce at 954-527-2511. Those fleeing or attempting to flee domestic violence, call 954-761-1133.
