Single Day Special Events

Navigate Your Journey will be held on. This is a community celebration offering information on disability resources, free parent seminars, demonstrations, performances, disability art exhibit, entertainment, games and much more. Fun for all ages and all disabilities. Be inspired, be empowered and share the news with your family and friends. All events are free and open to the public. The Exposition provides products and information to people of all ages with various disabilities and provides the South Florida community with an opportunity to learn about a variety of services and resources available to people with physical, emotional and developmental disabilities. There are multiple activities for participants: Inspirational Fashion Show, Talent Show in the Library and Wheelchair Basketball at the Noel P. Brown Sports Center. The goal of our all-volunteer committee is to empower and raise awareness about disabilities for our community. DIRECTIONS: From I-95 (North or South, or Florida's Turnpike (North or South): Take the I-595 West Exit. Proceed on I-595 to University Drive (Exit 5) and continue South on University Drive to SW 30 Street/Abe Fischler Blvd. Turn left (East) onto SW 30th Street/Abe Fischler Blvd, and after passing the Miami Dolphins Training Facility on your right (approximately 1/2 mile), make a right turn on to the North entrance of the campus (this is Ray Ferrero, Jr. Blvd). The 4-story parking garage will be on your right.
