Service Description
Provides information about what to do during a school campus lockdown. If a school campus lockdown, all the school's outside activities are stopped, and staff and students immediately report to classrooms or other protected areas. Doors will remain locked until the situation has been safely resolved. The District's main office and 9-1-1 are notified immediately. A parent or a designated contact person will be notified regarding the nature of the event and instructions to be followed. Please refrain from calling the school or coming to campus, as the teachers and staff will focus on safeguarding the children and keeping the lines of communication open.
