Salvation Army Alachua, The

Provides Christmas gifts, new clothing, and toys.

Residents of Alachua County ages birth to 12 years old.

Call or visit the location to apply. Application dates and times : October 2nd through the 5th; and October 16th through the 19th. Daily times are 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM daily. All documentation will need to be in written or hard copy form. No electronic information from cell phones will be accepted. Wish requests may not exceed $50 for any one item. (No cell phones, I-pads, computers, Play stations, etc.)

A written wish list and clothing sizes for all children 12 and under for whom you are requesting gifts Birth certificates and social security cards for all children 12 and under for whom you are seeking assistance Proof of all household expenses. (Utilities, rent, mortgage, cell, etc) Proof of all household income from all sources, or non-income. (Recent pay stub, SNAP, TANF, SSI, SSDI, AFDC or other government benefits) Proof of guardianship (If the applicant is not the parent) Proof of identification for the head of household (SS card, Photo ID) Proof of residency. Lease, or rental agreement. (Must be a resident of Alachua county) Social security cards for everyone in the household.

No fee.
