Service Description

Cornerstone Solutions is responsible for the recruitment, admissions, and placement of Florida Job Corps participants and provides free orientations on Monday and Wednesday mornings. No appointment necessary. Job Corps Training Centers provide free additional education, training and counseling needed to obtain and hold meaningful jobs to at risk youth including those with a physical emotional disability that must be documented by his/her physician. Upper age limit and length of program may be waived. Program includes courses in dependent living, employability skills and social skills to help students transform their lives and build brighter futures. Students live on or off campus and receive a basis living allowance. Acceptance of special needs participants is determined on a case by case basis and on the ability of the center to provide reasonable accommodations.

Eligibility

Disadvantaged, at risk youth between the ages of 16 and 24 years old, including those with disabilities. Must be US citizen or legal resident.
