The Child Care Training Department provides State-required training for child care personnel to provide safe and high-quality care to children. Offers annual in-service requirements through a range of courses that are designed to equip child care personnel with the knowledge and skills necessary to create a nurturing and supportive environment for children in their care. Offers Trauma-Informed Care for Directors course. The goal of this 40-hour course is to assist child care programs in implementing trauma-informed care for families they serve. This course can be used to meet the Florida Director Credential Renewal requirements.
