Service Description
Special Needs dentistry. This program includes patients with craniofacial anomalies, lip and cleft palate, mental and psychomotor delays and medically compromised children. A large percentage of these children are Medicaid recipients. Cases under general anesthesia are treated by the attending pediatric dentistry faculty and residents at the hospital's operating room. Consultations, cleanings, X-rays, etc.
