National Alliance on Mental Illness Broward (NAMI)

Provides a weekly recovery support group for people living with mental illness in which people learn from each others' experiences, share coping strategies, and offer each other encouragement and understanding. Meetings are held weekly for 90 minutes, follow a flexible structure without an educational format and do not recommend or endorse any medications or other medical therapies. Groups are confidential; participants can share as much or as little personal information as they wish.

Adults with a psychiatric diagnosis.

Call for schedule and locations; walk-ins welcome.
