Service Description

Provides an emergency mobile response team is available for individuals that are too symptomatic and unable to present to an outpatient location The Mobile Response Team travels to the physical location of the individual to conduct the assessment or intervention. A clinician will assess individuals to determine the immediate needs of the individual. When deemed clinically necessary, hospitalization, voluntary or involuntary, is implemented. Provides screening, standardized assessments, and referral services. Create safety plans to prevent future crises and include family members in the decision-making and support process. Ensure linkage between all continuum of care services; i.e., psychiatry, outpatient, and referral agencies Mobile Response Team do not transport individuals.

Eligibility

Alachua county and surrounding area residents. Youth ages 25 and under who is experiencing mental health crisis or severe emotional depression.
