Service Description
Provides ten classes on pregnancy topics like nutrition, hospital procedures, comfort measures, infant care, safe baby, breastfeeding, family planning, and a class baby shower to wrap up the series. Classes include various types of exercise; meditation to enhance self-esteem and reduce stress.
Eligibility
Open enrollment. Primary focus on patients who receive prenatal care at Memorial Clinic for underinsured.
Application Instructions
Contact Madeline Wares for information. Childbirth education and labor preparation classes are held 3 Fridays a month from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. The schedule may change depending on internal Department meetings.
