Service Description
Provides instruction in specific skills needed by blind and visually impaired people to help them become more independent; courses include safe travel skills, Braille, computers and other high tech devices, independent daily living skills including home and personal management, medication management, adaptive communication skills, and safe and functional kitchen skills. All courses include use of adaptive aids, such as talking equipment and various magnifiers. Also includes outreach services in the client's homes.
