Service Description
Provides a year round program with intensive summer program, provides adaptive skills training, counseling and goal setting to aid adolescents and young adults with vision impairment in the transition between adolescence and adulthood. Clients receive training in job readiness awareness, job preparation skills, independent living skills, and socialization with the community. Some clients will participate in a work experience based upon their future vocational goal. The program is offered for six weeks during the summer.
