Service Description
Provides legal services to overcome legal barriers in the following areas: discharge upgrades, service-connected disability appeals, issues with VA healthcare enrollment, overpayment waivers, divorce, paternity, timesharing/parenting, child support, estate planning/probate, bankruptcy, consumer debt, foreclosure, Social Security, disability appeals, immigration/citizenship, and driver license suspensions among others. VPBP does not accept cases with legal matters in criminal law, personal injury, and child abuse.

Eligibility
Veteran, active-duty servicemember, immediate family member, or dependent of a veteran residing in Broward County or with a legal issue in Broward County. There is no character of service or length of service requirements. Income eligibility requirements apply (excluding VA disability). VPBP cannot represent anyone with legal interests adverse to another veteran.
