Habitat for Humanity of Broward, Inc.

CLOSED - Provides home construction with affordable mortgage financing, closing cost assistance, and robust financial education to put low-income families on the pathway to financial security and a better life through homeownership. Offers ongoing service to families who have found a home through Habitat Broward, including counseling, budgeting assistance, and mortgage services.

Must be a first-time homebuyer, US Citizen or permanent legal resident, live and/or work in Broward County (12 plus months), must attend mandatory educational workshops, complete 300 hours of work onsite to build homes, demonstrate a need for affordable housing, and fall within the HUD income guidelines.
