Habitat for Humanity of Broward, Inc.

Builds affordable homes in partnership with hardworking, low-income Broward residents who need decent, safe, and affordable housing. They concentrate their home construction efforts in neighborhoods suffering from blight and high poverty levels. Offers affordable homeownership to residents in need but transforms communities as a whole. Engages volunteers in the construction process, reducing labor costs and raising awareness of the critical need for decent, affordable housing in Broward County.

Low-income residents of Broward County; income does not exceed 80% of the area median income but is adequate to repay an affordable mortgage, demonstrates the need for decent, affordable housing, and is willing to partner in the process by investing sweat equity in building homes and attending homebuyer education classes, and has not previously owned a home.

Open enrollment is available online during limited periods each year based on our home production schedule. The open enrollment process is announced on their website or through a subscription to their newsletter (on the website).
