Service Description
FOR PROFIT - Provides emergency psychiatric and crisis stabilization services and can hold a patient for a maximum of 72 hours. Physicians and counselors will examine and interview the patient to determine their mental state and the type and duration of further treatment that may be needed.

Eligibility
Individuals in severe danger to themselves or others who will likely experience neglect or harm if current behaviors continue, such as suicide attempts and hallucinations. Individuals ages 18 and over can voluntarily Baker Act themselves; a parent or guardian can request those under 18.
