Provides a price-gouging hotline activated during a declared State of Emergency. Florida residents and visitors are encouraged to call the hotline when price gouging is expected. Florida law prohibits extreme increases in the price of essential commodities such as food, water, hotels, ice, gasoline, lumber, and equipment needed due to an officially declared emergency.
