Service Description
Provides healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding counseling, support and referrals for health care.
Eligibility
Individuals who are pregnant, recently been pregnant, breastfeeding parent of an infant, infant, or child under the age of 5. The family's gross income must not exceed 185% of the U.S. Poverty Income Guidelines. Could also be qualified if self or a family member is currently receiving Medicaid, WAGES, or Food Stamps. Have a nutrition-related need, which will be determined by WIC staff.
