Service Description
FOR PROFIT - Provides personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.) and light housekeeping, including food preparation, medication reminders, and home health aides. Services are offered on an hourly basis.
Eligibility
Veterans younger than 65 must be disabled; if 65 and over, there is no requirement for disability, and they must have served 90 days of active duty with one day during a war period.
Application Instructions
If eligible for the Veterans Pension Benefit and the Aid and Attendance Allowance, individuals could qualify for home care services for veterans. Visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website www.va.gov to find out if eligible.
