Service Description
Provides a non-mounted mental health treatment that increases connection with themselves and others. Stress levels, confidence and boundaries are practiced with the help of the horse as a partner in service to the group. Helps with anxiety/depression, substance abuse, trauma, and PTSD symptoms. Performed in groups of up to 4.
Eligibility
Veterans with mental or emotional disabilities.
Application Instructions
Visit the website to complete an intake form; call for details. An email will be sent to the individual for intake information. Once a spot opens in the program, a Program Application will be sent to complete.
