Service Description
Provides Segways to military and veterans who, while serving our country in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, sustained injuries that resulted in permanent disability and difficulty walking. A Segway is a proprietary name for those two-wheel people movers; they have two large wheels, a platform to stand on, and a long handle that comes to your waist for steering.
Eligibility
Member or former member of US military on active duty on or after 9_1/01 who incurred illness/ injury resulting in disability.
