Broward Outreach Center Miami Rescue Mission

Provides emergency shelter assistance and targets clients who, without this assistance would spend the night on the streets during a weather advisory. Clients must meet eligibility criteria: intoxication and narcotics are not permitted. Weather Advisory referrals are accepted with a Hollywood Police Department, or other enforcement entities or Taskforce Referral. It is not a guarantee the client a bed as it is first-come, first serve for overnight status bed availability.

Individuals (no families) experiencing homelessness seeking overnight emergency shelter; do not send families as "walk-in" clients.

Must have a referral from the Homeless Helpline (954) 563-4357, a Police Officer, TaskForce, or weather advisory; first come first served basis. Arrive between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Subject to a background check. Limited parking is available on a first-come basis.
