Service Description
Provides housing aid to lower and middle-income families, funded through HUD and administered by the Florida Housing Finance Corporations. Funds can be used to repair or replace homes, or modify homes through barrier removal, etc.

Eligibility
Applicants are chosen on a first come, first qualified basis. Applicants must meet federal income guidelines and attend HUD approved financial counseling session and use a Broward County registered lender which can be found on website.

Residents living in one of the SHIP Entitlement Cities should contact them directly. Applicants interested in receiving special needs/barrier-free assistance funds should contact either the switchboard of the Center for Independent Living (954) 735-1490) or ARC of Broward (954) 746-9400).
