SN ONLY - The following ongoing programs are offered to persons with various disabilities:

Bowling - Call for details. This bowling program is for persons ages 13 years old and older with developmental disabilities. Participants bowl every Monday. Cost: $7/person for two games, shoes, and a prize fund. SpareZ Bowling Alley (5325 S. University Dr., Davie, FL 33328; (954) 434-9663). To preregister call (954) 357-8160/8170 or email SpecialPopulations@Broward.org . Current session: every Monday, 5:00-7:00 PM.

Tandem Bike Ride Programs - All bike programs are designed for persons who are blind or visually impaired, ages 18 and up. Skill Development Class - Learn basic biking skills, safety, bicycle mechanics, trust-building, and group riding etiquette. Program also provides opportunity for physical activity, fun and socialization.
Leisure Rides - Bring together graduates of the skill development class and tandem volunteers for a few hours of riding and socializing through various Broward County parks. Yoga Class - Call for details. This class is for adults who are blind or visually impaired. Bring a towel and a yoga mat (some mats will be available for use). Class size is limited. Reservations are required by the Monday prior to each class by calling (954) 357-8160 or emailing SpecialPopulations@Broward.org . Current session: Saturdays, 10:00 AM. to Noon.
