Broward Children's Center

Provides families with individualized, ongoing support and skills needed through a trained special needs counselor. Children with special needs, and their siblings, are also offered weekly sessions to work on lesson plans and practice receiving and providing positive nurturing skills. Sessions are flexible and can be offered at home, out of home, or at different times for parents and children. Ongoing case management, advocacy services, respite, and training for family or friends to provide effective home care are also offered in conjunction with this program.

Individuals with special needs ages birth to 21 and must have a developmental disability (Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, etc.) or other special medical conditions.
