Service Description
Assists individuals that are unemployed to find work, develop new skills, and build their financial security. Job candidates receive up to 20 hours a week of paid training and work experience. Candidates will be training in various locations, including offices, hospitals, daycare centers, senior centers, and other community organizations. The program is funded through a Department of Labor grant.

Eligibility
Individuals ages 55 and over. All participants must meet income and residency requirements.

Must contact the local Project Director to discuss eligibility requirements and enrollment procedures. Broward residents living North of County line Road and South of Broward Blvd should call the South office (954) 967-1010 (located inside CareerSource). Residents living north of Broward Blvd should contact the Central/North office (954) 202-9791.
