Service Description

Provides help individuals with Medicare, health, and long-term care insurance counseling. Volunteers are also available to make group presentations on various Medicare-related topics. Outside the Open Enrollment Period, individuals generally can enroll in a health insurance plan only if they qualify for a Special Enrollment Period. Please note that this year's enrollment period is only 45 days for the federal marketplace. For those who have a state-run marketplace, their enrollment periods will run longer into January.
