Service Description
Provides 24-hour telephone helpline services for Broward County residents who may need help with a health or human service problem or may need crisis intervention. Trained counselors are available to listen to any problem and have available information on over 3000 programs. All hotline calls are free, anonymous, and confidential, and callers are treated with respect and dignity. Counselors are multi-lingual and have access to an interpreting service that permits callers to be helped in any one of more than 240 languages.
